On my Windows PC, what software can I use view your PDF ebooks ?

o You can use any of these free PDF readers:

  • Adobe Reader 9. Click here to get it from the Adobe Website. Note: Adobe has reported that this Adobe Reader has a security flaw.
  • Sumatra PDF Reader. “A slim, free, open-source PDF viewer for windows.” Click here to visit the Sumatra website.
  • Foxit Reader. Click here to visit the website.
  • PDF–XChange Viewer. Click here to visit the website.

On my Apple Mac computer, what software do I need to view your PDF files?

o You can use any of these free PDF readers:

  • Preview is the default PDF file reader that comes included with every new Leopard Operating System. To learn more about Preview, go to the Apple 101 tutorial, and the article in Macworld.
  • Adobe Reader 9. Click here to get it from the Adobe Website. Note: Adobe has reported that this Adobe Reader has a security flaw.
  • Skim. “Skim is a PDF reader and note-taker for OS X. It is designed to help you read and annotate scientific papers in PDF, but is also great for viewing any PDF file.” Click here to go to the Skim home page.
  • Firefox-Mac-PDF. A plug-in that allows you to read PDF files from your Firefox browser. Click here to get it.
